Birthday Fun!

Last week was my birthday, and I've gotta say it was a great day! I took the day off of work, which was great! I plan to do that from now on! I got to sleep in, then have my breakfast of a Cinnabon! So yummy!! I went out for lunch with Ben and Allie at Panera Bread. She surprised me with a gift certificate for a manicure...can't wait to use it!!! It was yummy too! Then it turned out that Allie didn't have to work, so I invited her to dinner with us too! We met up with my parents, Ben's mom, and Allie for dinner that night at Fuji San -- one of my favorite restaurants! It's a Japanese restaurant that does hibachi style dinners as well as traditional. We had to wait a while (and endure a grumpy waitress!), but it was worth it for the delicious food! I love how fresh and perfectly seasoned everything is. I'm really mad at myself for forgetting the camera at both lunch and dinner!! I was so looking forward to getting some great pictures. Thankfully my mom had her camera at dinner, but I don't have the pictures now. Below are a few pictures that we got of birthday fun.

I've been addicted to doing word searches and other word puzzles, so he got me some great new books!

My big present was a pink iPod!!! It was just what I wanted and I'm having lots of fun loading it up and getting it going!

My mother-in-law sent me a beautiful flower arrangement

I even got spoiled when I went back to work the next day with a lovely flower arrangement on my desk! I love the vibrant colors!

My parents got me a few more Willow Tree Angel animals for the Nativity set they got me for Christmas, so now my stable will be pretty full!! I can't wait to get it all out at Christmas in our new house!! They also got me a really cute shirt...and it was all tucked in this really cool bag that played "Celebrate"! It was so funny cause every time I opened it, the bag sang at me! So funny!!

I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life to help me celebrate my special day!
