Two Years, Two Dinners

Last week was our two year anniversary!! I can't believe it's been two years, but at the same time it seems like yesterday! I am so blessed to have an amazing husband who loves me so deeply and loves God even more. Marriage is one of the most challenging, amazing, fabulous, and overwhelming things I've ever experienced. I thank God SO much that I found my soul mate at such a young age. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life loving him and getting to know him even more.

Well, we decided to go to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner. It's the place we went the night we got engaged, and we also had our rehearsal dinner there. I had even printed off a coupon! We showed up and much to our shock the parking lot was practically empty! Ben went up to the door, and there was a sign that listed their new, summer hours -- closed Mondays AND Tuesdays!! AAHHHH!!! By this time we were very hungry, so we decided to stop somewhere to get something to eat. Well...we were a bit overdressed...but we went to...


We sat there laughing 'cause it was pretty funny to end up there! But it tasted yummy, and we even got ice cream!! So, the next day we went to dinner as planned! We went straight from work, so I didn't have my camera. I did take a picture with my phone, but it's kinda grainy and dark. We had a delicious meal and a wonderful time together!


When I think about our anniversary, I often think of our awesome friends Jess & Jon who share our anniversary! It's pretty cool...cause that's how Jess and I met! We worked together for a bit (along with hundreds of other people on our floor alone), then someone mentioned to me that she was getting married on the same day I was! I mentioned that to her, and we hit it off from there! We ended up hanging out outside of work with our guys who also became friends. Now we count them as very dear friends and are so blessed to have them in our lives. Who would've thought that our anniversary would bring us together and would also bring friends!
