Hangin with the Boys

We had the awesome privilege of watching our friends kids on Saturday for a few hours. They are a beautiful couple who make some beautiful babies!

We started out by going to "Old McDonald's" (aka McDonalds) for some lunch and play time.

Dennis in the tube...climbing like a monkey!

Ian conquered his fear of the wobbly bridge. Well, maybe not completely, but he did crawl across it! And we celebrated that victory! What a brave little man he is!

After lunch and some play time, we went to the park for a safety / bike event. They gave away free helmets! Each of the boys got to get one. I think their favorite parts were things that are typically at the park though...not the special event! That's totally fine...cause they had lots of fun on the carousel and the playground!

I love to watch the boys together. They play SO well together and genuinely enjoy each other. It's so sweet.

Ian on the "hot slide." At least he thought it was going to be hot...but it wasn't really.

Fireman Dennis to the rescue!

Evan and Ben on the way back from one of the many potty breaks I believe!

Dennis and Evan loved riding the carousel! Ian wasn't so sure at first, so he rode with Ben. He decided he liked riding with Ben, so he rode for a second time too!

This is a bit blurry...but not too bad considering we were both riding the carousel at the time! And what a cute face...couldn't resist posting this one!

One word...adorable!

After the park, we went to Friendly's for free ice cream day! We each got a cone or a bowl for free! It tasted so good on such a hot day! And somehow free tastes even better!!!

Not a very lovely picture of me...but I had to get an ice cream shot in!

After the movie we went to the "cheap theater," as I call it, to see Horton Hears a Who. It was really cute! The boys enjoyed it and so did we! We only had one potty break and one person fall asleep, so I call that a successful movie viewing!

When the boys got back to Grandma & Grandpa's they had a surprise waiting! They had made this water sprayer while we were gone. It is so awesome!

We had a wonderful day with the boys! It was so much fun, especially since they are so well behaved and polite. It truly is a joy to do stuff with them! They even say "thank you" after I comment on their wonderful manners...how adorable! We look forward to another fun day! And maybe even a sleepover sometime!?
