Bargains Galore!

A couple of weekends ago my friend Jess and I went away for a girls' weekend. (much needed, by the way!) We had a lot of fun hanging out, enjoying good food, and hunting down some awesome bargains! We started off by taking a half day on Friday and grabbing some lunch at a cute cafe near Jess and Jon's house.


We had a lovely lunch and hit the road to go to the Carousel Mall in Syracuse. We did some shopping there (starting with the beloved Steve & Barry's!!) then headed to meet Emilie, Jess' sister. We unpacked at her house and went to the ABC store for some wine, then to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory...delicious! We even got pieces of cheesecake to go. After a stop at Walmart, we headed to Emilie's for some wine and cheesecake...totally girly! Finally, we hit the sack.

In the morning we got ready and met up with Emilie's friend Jill on the way to the farmer's market. We then went over to the Waterloo outlet malls...aka shopping heaven...amazing! Sadly, I didn't take too many pictures over the weekend...to busy I guess, but here's one that I did take at the mall. It's not a good pic of me, but it's got the word SALE over our heads, so it can't be all bad! :-)



We found some great sales and especially enjoyed the stores that had clearance on top of sales. I tell ya...it doesn't get much better than that!

After the outlet malls we headed back home to meet up with our hubbies at a baseball game. The weather was not cooperating, so we didn't stay too long but it was still fun!


I enjoyed the cheesecake the next day too! It was a big, rich piece so I nibbled on it a couple of times! The only downer is that now I crave it!



We had a fun weekend, and I'm very happy to have a lovely friend to have spent it with! We're already planning the next adventure!
