OK, so I've just gotta brag on God for a minute (He deserves more, I know). We had two "God things" happen this past week that kinda gave me a kick in the butt to remember that...yes...God really does care ALL THE TIME!!
First thing -- Our washer crapped out last week. We got it as a set with a dryer when we got married almost two years ago and it was $50 for the set (if that tells you anything about it!). I'd say we got our $25 worth out of it! Ben's made a few repairs on it, but this time it really took a dirt nap! We've been very blessed that it lasted us this long. We started looking in the classifieds of our local paper, on Craig's list, and at a local discount store. We found a washer for sale by a guy who had an extra one. It's just a few years old, in good condition, and it has a warranty still on the motor. We paid the $150 and went on our way happily with the new washer. We recieved a bill in the mail on Saturday that just "happened" to have a $150 discount applied to it! Coincidence...I think not! God supplied the exact amount that we spent on the washer. Man, He's cool!
Second thing -- We'd been dealing with an issue this week, and when our pastor started preaching on Sunday the message was about the exact thing! I almost started laughing right there in church! Of all the timing for this issue to come up and for our pastor to preach on it!! It was one of those times when God was confirming our decisions and our way of handling things. We believe we're right on and it was nice to have God give us a little "way to go!" It was a good reminder to keep on what we know is right and to be encouraged to expand our thinking as well.
So, I've just gotta give a shout out to God...He rocks my socks off!

Good news about the washer. Although God things are all around - it is very cool when He puts something right in front of you. If that makes any sense?
