Heavy Hearted

Hi, guys...I'm really sad today. Just thought I'd be totally honest. My co-worker Joy came back from an appointment with her husband and I immediately knew they didn't get good news. Michael (her husband) had already had a biopsy done on a lump he had on his lymph nodes that came back with inconclusive results. Earlier this week he had a PET scan done, and today he went to a doctor to find out what was going on. The doctor read the results of the PET scan then came in and told them he had really bad news for them. Michael has cancer all through his body, including in his bones. Joy said that the scan results were obvious even to her. It breaks my heart to see my dear friend so upset and to feel so helpless. They are believers, so please pray not only for a miracle for Michael but also for God to feel very close to them right now. I am hoping they feel His love around them like a warm, fuzzy blanket on a cold day. Please pray with me...I know they will appreciate it too.
