Mud Season

Last weekend we had a bonfire at the property. We had (and still have!) a bunch of brush from the trees we've cut down, so we figured it was a good excuse to have a party! We had a bunch of family and friends (about 13 of us...plus Sadie!) up. We roasted hot dogs, snacked on yummy food, toasted marshmallows for smores, and cooked up some fruit pies in the pie makers. It was lots of fun!

We did have a bit of a battle with the mud while we were there though!! Poor Isaac was stuck in the mud and Ben had to pull him out!! I also got stuck and lost a shoe here and there. Sadie had mud flying up behind her as she ran all over the place. It made it even more memorable!

This is our pile of muddy laundry! We just dumped it at the door when we came in and hopped right into the shower! Even Sadie got a bath.

My poor crocs...cryin' shame I forgot my boots...my how I could have used them! Good thing crocs are easily washable!
