The Bargain Hunting Continues...

This time I used my powers for the good of others!! hehe :-) Saying it like that sounded so dramatic...I love it!! I should call myself "Super Bargain Girl"!!! Then again, maybe not...I'm certainly not the best bargain hunter out there.

So, Friday after work I hit Target for some necessities. As is my normal routine, I checked the end caps in my favorite sections for some clearance items (since that's where they keep most of them...hint, hint). I looked through the items in the bedding department and stumbled upon this lone set of sheets...

It's a set of sheets for a California king bed (full set including fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillow cases) which is what my parents have. The original price was about $37, which on its own isn't too bad for a set of these sheets. They were marked down to about $26, which was quite a deal! I called my mom and she agreed, so I plopped them into my cart. At the checkout, the sheets were the last thing that she rang out. I keep my eye on price listing at checkout to make sure I'm getting all of my great bargains, so when I saw the price for these ring up at just over $9 I almost did my happy jig right there in the store!! Overwhelmed with excitement, I had to call my mom from the parking lot to fill her in! She was so proud of me!! (She, too, is quite a bargain shopper! Wonder where I got it from?!)



I also found this cute necklace for Shea, my friends Jess and Jon's cat! It's so cute and will go well with her brother's tie. (His name is JackBauer, and Jess and I found the tie for him on another Target trip!)
