Super Slippery, Super Pup, & Superbowl

Friday we got a nasty ice storm, so Ben & I ended up staying home. We had fun being together & got a lot done too. Another bonus to being home was that our new camera arrived!! Ben was especially excited! We need to get another zoom lens for it since we have trouble taking close-up pics due to the length of the current lens. (see some-what blurry pics to follow!) Since we got the camera, we had to try it out so here are some of our tests:

Kissy, kissy!

My hottie hubby!

She's just so darn cute!!

We had to tape up Sadie's ear because she had a cut that wasn't healing very well on its own. She looked so cute with the bandage on & she did pretty well with it!

She looks thrilled, doesn't she!

Last Saturday night we went to my parents' house for dinner. It was nice to hang out with them & the pups. They have a cute little pup named Chloe, who is Sadie's best buddy! Chloe's still a puppy (almost a year old), so she is very playful! They have lots of fun just following each other around the house & playing.

This is cutie Chloe!

This is the pups playing...rather Sadie chewing on a bone & Chloe being a butt-sniffer. They take turns at the butt sniffing...even though I tell them it's gross & they should stop!

We had a really great time with our "couple friends" Jess & Jon while we watched the Superbowl on Sunday. And what an exciting game it was! Even though I am a born Jets fan, I had to resign myself to cheering for the Giants (Ben's team) during the playoffs. We enjoyed some tasty treats including deep-dish pizzas that Jess found a recipe for. Much thanks to them for letting us hang there to watch the game on the beautiful high-def TV!

Jess & Jon making pizzas. Aren't they so cute together!?

Chillin' & watchin' the game

Jess & I

Jon was very anxious throughout the game.

Ben was watching intently.

Jess posted a very amusing video of the boys' reaction during the last few seconds of the game...very entertaining! Check it out here

Last night Ben (for some unknown reason) decided to put his t-shirt on Sadie. He's usually opposed to putting clothing on animals (thinks it's crazy), but something made him do this! She looks so funny!

Well, that's about it for now (wow, this got long!). We hope you all have a great weekend!
